TALENT AMBASSADOR – MEGHADIPA GOSWAMI
Hello! My name is Meghadipa Goswami, and I am originally from Calcutta, India. Although for almost three years now, home has been Turku, a city on the Southwest coast of Finland. What you might be wondering is how does one go from one of the biggest metropolitan cities in India to a medium-sized Finnish city 6,500 km away?
My journey towards the Nordics started when I accepted my study place offer at the University of Turku three years ago. Since then, it has been a whirlwind of activity including moving to Finland, experiencing student life here, absorbing the local culture, and working in Finland.
I learn more about this country every day, and the opportunities here are truly fascinating. From studying a Master’s degree on a full scholarship, to finding a job during my studies, these last years have been an exciting journey. Currently working in an In-vitro diagnostic company in the health capital of Finland, I look forward to a wide scope of professional possibilities. Finland is not just a great place to work, it’s a great place to live. Most of my free time is spent working together with my boyfriend on developing our blog. I also enjoy exercising, watching movies and hiking.
