The aim of the Boost Your Language Confidence Courses is to boost your everyday language skills in Finnish and English to help you get settled in Finland. You do not have to know any Finnish or English to participate!
Language level: 0 or A1
Target groups: Ukrainians in higher education who have received temporary asylum in Finland. Other immigrants in higher education may also register.

Daily Interaction (May 2-30)
Basic skills about everyday life and interaction in Finland. Get to know your new hometown Turku and its services. Practice interaction in Finnish and/or in English, eg. shopping, healthcare and school interaction.

Everyday Messaging (June 1-29)
Basic skills about everyday messaging in Finland. Practice writing in Finnish and/or in English, eg. to employers, teachers and officials.
Course registration period: May 2 – 28, 2023
Finnish Recap (July 10-21)
Intensive course to recap and boost your basic Finnish skills.
Course registration period: May 2 – June 30, 2023
Basic Academic Skills (July 31 – Aug 15)
Starting studies in the Autumn? In this course we get to know
the Finnish education system and academic skills.
