Extra Support for Engineering Summer Trainees in the Turku Region

The Engineering Summer Trainee Campaign (Kesäteekkarikampanja) makes starting your summer career in the Turku region even easier. The City of Turku and Business Turku offer housing and mobility support for Master’s-level engineering students (DI students) who join technology companies in the Turku region for the summer.

Selected trainees receive housing support and a 90-day public transport pass, valid throughout June, July and August 2026, covering buses, Fölläri city bikes, and the water bus. The benefit is available to a limited number of students studying at universities outside the Turku region, upon submission of an employment contract and application.

Summer employment contracts are agreed directly between the company and the student, following standard practices. Come build your career, enjoy a smooth start, and experience summer in the Turku region!
