In the las episode of Career Talks Turku series, we have invited two company represenatives to introduce their company and company culture concerning recruitment. This is an opportunity to discuss with Finnish companies and contribute how you, as an international talent in Finland, see a company you want to be a part of.

About Nural:

I graduated from Political Science and International Relations, from Marmara University. During my studies, I was always interested in communication and sociology side of our department, instead of politics, which led me to start my career as an HR Intern in Benetton. Right after graduation, I moved to British American Tobacco, first as an HR Assistant and then as a member of the newly formed HR Shared Services Team. Although I was very satisfied with my role, my passion in analogue photography led me to the entrepreneurial path and I became the Country Manager for Lomography Turkey, a branch of the Viennese photography brand, where I ran the operations for 10 years. During this time, I moved to Finland, became a mom and in 2021, decided that I want to be part of a bigger team once again. I once again returned to my first career path and joined Wärtsilä’s People Support Hub team in December 2021, where I’m working as a Senior HR Specialist currently.

About Mari:

Mari Rannanautio, HR Manager at Lingsoft has gradually found her professional passion in HR, especially in enabling a well-functioning work community where everyone has a possibility to thrive. Having a Master’s degree in translation studies, her career previously involved various roles in Lingsoft’s Language Services, such as Project Manager and Service Manager. As for HR and it’s many challenges, learning continues.
