Peer group for parents

Organised by Moniheli’s OmaPolku project and International House Turku

Do you want to talk about how you can help your children to find their study and career paths in Finland? You are not alone. Let’s find paths together!

You do not need to register for the peer group in advance.

In the peer group, we share basic information about Finnish upper secondary education and discuss what this information means to us in practice when raising our children here in Finland.

During the peer group, you will be able to discuss:

• Upper secondary education options after basic education.
• How to support young people in choosing study or career paths.
• Importance of interaction and cooperation between home and school.
• What is important for parents to know when the age of compulsory education rises to 18 years.
